Coastal Growers Market offers Rhode Islanders a great opportunity to support local farmers and to purchase a variety of hard-to-find products including organic produce, pasture-fed meats, locally raised shellfish and more. Customers are encouraged to bring the whole family for a unique shopping experience and some of the finest produce in Rhode Island. This is a year-round market with separate locations for summer and winter.

This is Rhode Island's oldest continually operating farmers market, offering a seasonal selection of Rhode Island-grown produce and other products by members' farms. Selling fresh seasonal vegetables and fruit; beef, pork, lamb, chicken, and turkey; oysters, mussels, clams and finfish from Rhode Island waters; fresh eggs, local honey, maple syrup, jams, pickles, relish and fresh handmade goat cheese; artisan breads, large assortment of bakery goodies, pastries, calzones, spinach pies; nursery stock, herb and house plants, cut flowers, harvest decorations, Christmas wreaths and tabletop decorations; beeswax candles, hand creams, RI wool blankets and wool, artisan soaps, goat milk lotions, handmade pottery, woodcrafts, oilcloth bags, nature crafts, birdhouses, composting worms, dog biscuits, herbal products. Enjoy fresh popped kettle corn or hot cup of coffee while you stroll and shop.
The Outdoor Markets are held Saturday and Tuesday, May to October, rain or shine. The Saturday Market is held 8:30 a.m. to noon at University of Rhode Island's East Farm, Route 108 in Wakefield. The Tuesday Market is held 2-6 p.m. at Marina Park on Salt Pond Road in Wakefield.
The Wintertime Market is held November to April, Saturday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Peace Dale Mills, 1425 Kingstown Road, Wakefield.
