Sail away on the Block Island Ferry to Old Harbor, Block Island, "the Bermuda of the North." With just a short ferry ride, you can enjoy the sand, surf and sun on one of the last unspoiled places of natural island beauty in New England. Walk off the ferry to a scenic countryside, shoreline bicycling, white sand beaches and quaint shops. You'll find rolling moors, stone walls, historic lighthouses, nature preserves, bird sanctuaries, secluded walking trails and sand dunes. Come for the day or stay for a long weekend at one of the island's Victorian-era hotels.
Board the ferry in Point Judith or Newport, Rhode Island and relax while the ferry carries you to this island gem. Take in the sun on the upper deck or cruise comfortably in the enclosed passenger area on the main deck where drinks and food are available from the cocktail bar and galley.
Parking is available. Ferry transports motor vehicles. Call or go online for schedules, rates and vehicle reservations. Boats available for charter.
