Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular 2017 at Roger Williams Park Zoo - Providence, RI - Providence, RI

In 2017 the Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular – a trail in Roger Williams Park that passes elaborate installments of carved jack o lanterns -- will take explorers through time and visit with dinosaurs, explore the ice age, and peek into the ancient civilizations of Egypt and Rome. Art and music of each era will accompany the intricate pumpkin carvings. Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular is open rain or shine.
Friday, Saturday, Sunday visits are available for purchase online only; timed ticket entry requires pre-registration. Adults, $18; children ages 2-12, $15. Trail open 6-11 p.m.
Monday through Thursday visits are sold online and at Zoo admissions. Adults, $15; children at 2-12, $12. Trail open 6-10:30 p.m. Last ticket is sold at 10 p.m.

Storytime is back to haunt Burnside Park. Author Alison Paul and performer Ricky Katowicz will read spooky favorites. The Kidoinfo Art in the Park Wonky World of Roald Dahl theme continues with Spooky Storytime art inspired by "The Witches." Kids will create art inspired by Halloween and enjoy a dance party and costume parade, a hay bale maze, and mini pumpkins to paint.
