Blithewold Home-School Days 2024 – Bristol RI

On the last Tuesday of each month through May, there will be fun (and educational) hands-on learning at Blithewold estate. This year they will offer programs in science, history, and art. Between sessions, there is plenty of time to enjoy a nice picnic or run out some energy on the Great Lawn. The programs are designed for ages 8 – 13. Adult chaperone required. Reservations are required.
Monthly Program Topics: April: Architecture; May: Science of Kites. Dates: April 30, and May 28.

Organized by the RI Land Trust Council, this great event for adults, families and kids challenges people to explore hiking traisl throguhout the state. Hidden along 34 trails are steel sculptures inspired by nature. Each cunning creature has a QR code for you to scan and track your progress, and when you have found all 34 you will be eigible for prizes. The events website has trails where you can find a creature and a printable checklist of 30 creatures. Create an account to track your progress.
