Costumed interpreters will represent different occupations as they demonstrate their craft while conversing with you. For $5 you can make a traditional beeswax candle to take home.

What's more fun than bumper cars? How about bumper cars on ice? Slide and bump around the City Center Ice Rink in brightly colored, round cars. Riders must be 6 years old and at least 42 inches tall. Children 3 to 5 years old can ride free seated with an adult. Reservations are encouraged but not required.

The parade begins at 11 a.m. from Newport City Hall and will proceed to Carroll Avenue at Saint Augustin’s Church in the Fifth Ward. The parade this year is estimated to last 2 hours and will include pipe bands, marching bands, fife & drum corps, clowns, reenactors, police and fire units, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, and schools.
