Come to the zoo’s Our House in the Big Backyard to make a craft and meet the Easter Bunny. Zoo visitors can purchase tickets at admissions, or as they enter the event. Dates: March 28 & 29 from 10 a.m. to noon and 1 to 3 p.m. and April 3 & 4 from 10 a.m. to noon and 1 to 4 p.m. Cost, in addition to zoo admission, is $10 for children ages 3 - 12, and $5 for toddlers ages 2 and younger. Fired & Inspired: Ceramics at Rough Point Exhibit - Newport, RI

This exhibit examines the diverse ceramic collection Doris Duke amassed. In addition, Rough Point has commissioned new works by six artists inspired by the estate's collections, history and spaces, providing a fresh new context for experiencing the museum and the existing ceeramics collection. Participating artists include Warren Mather (Weston, MA), Kathy King (Boston, MA), Marc Cooper (Boston, MA), Marco Vargas (Mexico), Judit Kollo (London, England) and Zhu Yang (Jingdezhen, China). The exhibit is open through the mansion’s 2015 season, ending fall 2015.
