Animal Tracks and Signs for Families - Smithfield, RI

Learn how to identify different tracks and other signs of our native mammals and birds. Investigate artifacts, explore track patterns and make plaster tracks to take home. Venture on the trails to see what evidence can be found of wild things on the refuge. This class will be geared for families with children. Wear warm footwear and dress for the weather.

"To Win or Lose All" explores the Navy's role in securing victory during World War I under Admiral William Sims. Expect to walk one or two miles in soft sand.
