The Foundry Artists Association 2016 - Pawtucket, RI

The Foundry Artists Association is a unique group of artists that self-produces an annual holiday sale that runs over the course of two weeks. To accomplish this, member/artists participate in the creation and running of the show. Dates: December 2-4 and 9-11.
Time: Fridays, noon to 8 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m.-6 p.m.

December School Vacation Week at RI Audubon - Bristol, RI

Celebrate nature with Audubon. Special programs and activities are available each day and are free with admission. Registration is not required. Nature Crafts will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. pm each day; Nature Story is a 10 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.An Animal Interview will be featured at 1:30 pm. Special programs for children age 6 and olcer are also available each day at 11 a.m.
Tuesday: Owl Pellet Dissection. Learn all about how owls hunt then use simple and safe tools to take apart an owl pellet.
Wednesday, : Animal Tracks and Signs. Become a nature detective and work to solve animal mysteries.
Thursday:Cooking for the Birds. Create unique and tasty dishes for feathered friends in your backyard.
Friday: Icy Investigation. Discover the science of ice.
Time: 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
Admission: Adults. $6; children ages 4-12, $4


Inventing Impressionism Exhibit at the Rhode Island School of Design Museum - Providence, RI

This selection of paintings and drawings by artists Paul Cézanne, Camille Pissarro, Berthe Morisot, Pierre-Auguste Renoir and Mary Cassatt and others highlights the Impressionists’ creative use of process and materials to represent contemporary subjects in a way that had never been done before. Exhibit extends through June 11, 2017

Norah Jones Day Breaks World Tour - Providence, RI
