Smithfield. Bryant University, 1150 Douglas Pike. Campus opens to the public at 6 p.m.; U.S. Navy Band performs at 8 p.m. fireworks at 9 p.m. Rain date for fireworks only, July 9.

Cumberland. Tucker Field, 2600 Mendon Road. Rain date: July 5
East Providence. Pierce Memorial Stadium, 201 Mercer Street. Food, concessions, and concert with Kicking Hole & Crushed Velvet followed by fireworks. Gates open 6 p.m. Rain date: July 5.
Warwick. Oakland Beach Seawall, 889 Oakland Beach Avenue. Expect traffic congestion on Oakland Beach Avenue; seek alternate routes, like Sea View Drive or Pequot Avenue. Fireworks also can be seen from City Park. Weather updates at 401-738-2000. Rain date is July 5.
North Providence. Governor Notte Park, 1801 Douglas Avenue. Entertainment and food court, 6-9 p.m. Rain date: July 5.
Scituate. Hope Jackson Fire Station at Hope Park, 117 Main Street. Food concessions, bounce house, Shrine clowns, balloon animals, tattoos, glow-sticks at 5 p.m. 401-828-6460. No rain date.

Narragansett. Narragansett Town Beach, 39 Boston Neck Road. The beach party starts at mid-day with sandcastle building and Brass Force performing from 5 to 7 p.m. on the deck, North Beach Clubhouse. Fireworks at dusk. Rain date is July 5.
Newport Newport Harbor, Wellington Avenue and Washington Street. Rain date: July 5
Providence. India Point Park, 201 India Street
South Kingstown. Old Mountain Field. Festivities begin at 5 p.m. with live music. Rain date for fireworks: July 5.

Fourth of July Drum and Bugle Corps Competition 2017 - Cranston, RI

July 2. Fireworks on Crescent Beach, Corn Neck Road. Live music starts around 7:30 p.m. and the fireworks hit the sky as soon as it's dark enough, probably around 9.
July 4. Parade steps off from Veterans Park, just south of Great Salt Pond. Floats, bands, clowns, and kids marching in formation across the island. 1 p.m.
Steak Fry at Fire Barn, Beach Avenue. Enjoy steak, corn on the cob, watermelon and salad. 2:30-3:30 p.m.
