Off-Leash Dog Parks in South County Rhode Island (RI)

Two fenced-in areas for small (under 30 pounds) and large (over 30 pounds) dogs. Grassy areas and trees for shade.

Stand Up For Animals provides a dog park for the public to bring their well-behaved, vaccinated and licensed dogs for off-leash fun and exercise.

There is a one-acre park for large dogs and a half-acre park for smaller dogs. The park has large areas with trees, grass, rocks, a fire hydrant. The park has double entry and exit gates, dog waste bag stations and plenty of parking. Benches and picnic tables are available. For jogger: five laps around the large dog park equal a mile.
Ninigret Park is on Route 1A just off Route 1 in Charlestown. The park is open to the public from 8:00 a.m. to sunset year round. Many recreational facilities are available throughout the park.
