T.F. Green Airport (PVD) in Providence / Warwick and many other regional airports serve air travelers from all parts of Rhode Island. Westerly State Airport (WST) and Block Island State Airport (BID) off the coast also have airports serviced by regional airlines.

T.F. Green is a small airport, but it serves most of the major airlines and is conveniently located in Warwick, just 15 minutes from Providence and 35 minutes from Newport.

Depending on where in Rhode Island you plan to visit or are departing from, it may benefit you to fly into or out of Logan (BOS) in Boston, MA in order to fly direct and save yourself a bit of money or a transfer.

Westerly State Airport fulfills several roles for the South County area of Rhode Island, including corporate aviation service, extensive aircraft maintenance and repair and regularly scheduled commercial service to Block Island on New England Airlines. Ground transportation includes rental car companies.

Groton-New London Airport (GON)

The airport is one of two state-owned airports with commercial air carrier service. Groton-New London Airport serves the growing number of business commuters and leisure travelers in southeastern Connecticut. Groton New London Airport has no scheduled commercial airline service at this time. Charter services offered by Columbia Air Service at 1-860-449-1400 and Lanmar Aviation at 1-860-446-8621. Ground transportation includes four cab companies, a limo services, and a car rental company.
