Opened in 1928 as Loew’s State, it was designed by architects C.W. and George Rapp of Chicago, who were known for their opulent and grand designs. At this open houseguests may admire the intricacies and grandeur of the historic interiors, visit the projection booth, step onstage to see the mechanics of PPAC’s acclaimed productions, and hear the theater’s Wurlitzer pipe organ.
