2024 Music at Sunset Concert Series

Spread out the picnic, soak up the warmth of the summer sun over Narragansett Bay, and enjoy a variety of musical performances by local musicians. Wednesday nights at Blithewold are the perfect way to enjoy summer with friends and family! Guests are encouraged to bring picnic dinners and chairs or blankets. We have 33 acres of gardens and grounds, including a 10-acre lawn, where you can enjoy the music and gorgeous views over the bay. Preregistration is required! Walk-ins will not be accepted. The day before the concert you will receive a printout. Please print it and place it in the windshield of your car. It will be checked in when you arrive. Rain dates for some concerts. Roger Williams Park Zoo presents a fantastic journey into the world of Dragons and Mythical Creatures this summer! Explore a world with over 60 animatronic fantasy creatures including dragons, unicorns, mermaids and manticores, each with their own stories about how they became legends in various cultures around the world. NOTE: Zoo admission does not include entrance to this special event. Proceeds to be for care & maintenace of the Zoo's animal habitats as well as educational and animal conservation efforts.

PVDFest, Providence RI’s signature outdoor arts festival, takes place on September 6-7, 2024. This year’s festival returns to the beating heart of Downtown, centered at Kennedy Plaza, animating the streets of the Creative Capital with astonishing international and local performances, art installations, parades, artisan markets, and world-class cuisine. Saturday’s rain date is Sunday, September 8 from noon to 6 PM.
