At the award-winning Roger Williams Park Zoo, home to over 1,000 animals representing more than 150 species, visitors encounter rare and exotic creatures from around the world. See elephants, giraffes, kangaroos, snow leopards, moon bears, gibbons, African wild dogs and giant anteaters and much more, all in a naturalistic setting. Major exhibit areas include Plains of Africa, North America, Australasia, the Marco Polo Silk Road, Madagascar and the Tropical America building, which features free-roaming monkeys.
