With two biergartens, there is no wrong turn made wandering the event, appreciating the diversity of drink, and enjoying the company of other like-minded beer-lovers. Juicy Bratwurst, yodeling and folk dance performers, lots of live music, and a kid-friendly activity area make this a great way for the whole family to spend the weekend. The Newport Mansions Wine & Food Festival, presented by Food & Wine magazine, returns for the fifth straight year at Rosecliff and Marble House in Newport. The festival features 500 high-end international wines, fabulous food, cooking demonstrations by celebrated chefs, a Sunday jazz brunch, live and silent auctions, and a gala celebration. The Emerald Isle sends some of its most entertaining exports to Newport in this 3-day celebration of Celtic shenanigans. Kick up your heels and let your Irish lilt ring loud with traditional Irish step-dance, comedy routines, and the spirited sounds of nonstop Irish music, including The Elders, Eileen Ivers, The Screaming Orphans and many more.
