Mechanical Menagerie at the Providence Children's Museum -- Providence Now through January 31, 2010 See a new exhibit of creatures fashioned from recycled electronics and other repurposed junk by Providence artist Ann P. Smith. View eye-popping sculptures of lizards, goats, birds, bugs, an antelope, a jellyfish and more are created from disassembled computers, discarded cell phones and other mangled machines and salvaged scraps and see what parts you can identify. Robert Thornton 2009: Children's Hour -- Providence Now through November 22, 2009 Year after year, Robert Thornton continues to intrigue us with his large-scale, figurative scenes in acrylic.
